Masjid Farhat Habeeb stands as a beautiful testament of faith, intention, and the mercy of Allah.
This property was originally purchased by my beloved parents in the early 1990s. At that time, it was a modest house with a few rooms surrounding a central courtyard, covered with asbestos roofing. In 2002, the old structure was demolished and replaced with a new residential building consisting of two separate apartments with a staircase at the end.
By the mercy and the will of Allah, in 2025 this building was once again transformed. While the main structure was preserved, it was thoughtfully redeveloped and converted into a contemporary masjid, carefully designed to serve the needs of the community and the honored guests of Allah, while maintaining a welcoming, spiritual, and peaceful environment.
Today, Masjid Farhat Habeeb includes:
This masjid was named in honor of my beloved mother, Farhat Habeeb, as a lasting tribute to her legacy.
Perhaps the most fascinating part of this transformation is that even before it became a masjid, the structure felt as though it had been designed to become a house of Allah. By the divine wisdom, it seemed that Allah had already chosen this place long before it was formally commissioned.
An ideal structure remodeled into a place of worship, reflection, and peace – a masjid that stands as a symbol of faith, intention, and divine mercy.
SubhanAllah. Alhamdulillah. Allahu Akbar.
